Windows Mobile Shazam

It’s lived on Windows Mobile as Music ID, but now Shazam has come out with an official app for the platform. Similar to the app on the iPhone, Android, Blackberry, and Symbian devices, Shazam will help you identify songs, artists, and albums just by holding the phone next to the music being played. On Windows Mobile, there will be a premium version of the app dubbed Shazam Encore. For a one-time fee of $4.69, users will get more features such as unlimited tagging and recommendations. You’ll be able to test Shazam Encore for 7 days and then choose to pay or stick to the free version. Users can download Shazam from the Windows Marketplace for Mobile now.

Many others have been stating that apps installed via the marketplace can’t be installed on the storage card, which is a problem for phones with low internal storage.
