MSI’s X-Slim X400 lands in the US for $800

First unveiled back in May, MSI has finally released the X-Slim X400. The ultraportable features a 14-inch display with a resolution of 1366×768, an Intel Core 2 Solo SU2700 1.3GHz processor, the GMA 4500MHD integrated graphics, 2GB of RAM, a 320GB HDD, Windows Vista Home Premium , a 4-cell battery, and HDMI / VGA ports. The MSI X-Slim X400 also ships with a built-in 1.3MP web camera, a multicard reader, Bluetooth, and your typical 802.11a/g/n wireless. With all these features, the MSI X-Slim X400 will cost around $800 and is available black/gold, black/silver, or white/blue.

MSI’s latest offering, the X-Slim X410, is a much needed upgrade to the X-Slim X400. The new X410 is powered by AMD’s Athlon Neo processor and features an ATI Radeon X1250 GPU. Other notable specs for the laptop include 2GB of RAM, 320GB or 500GB hard drive, 1.3 megapixel camera, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth (optional), and a 14-inch LCD with a resolution of 1,366 x 768. Ports include HDMI, gigabit Ethernet, SD card reader, USB 2.0 ports, and VGA output. No word on price or availability, but we’re expecting to see the X410 out for the holidays.
