Apple today brought some new updates to the iPod Touch, but nothing big. The new iPod Touch is now thinner than the first gen and sports a stainless steel case. Along with the steel case, Apple has also added external volume controls, an external speaker, Nike+ support, and a battery that gives you 36 hours of music and 6 hours of video. On the software side, the iPod Touch will now include the App Store and also features something new called the iTunes Genius, which creates a playlist of songs that go great together. This feature is also available in the new iPod Nano. As for pricing, the iPod Touch will cost $229 for 8Gb, $299 for 16GB, and $399 for 32GB.
