With an iPhone app from Viper and a SmartStart module installed in your car, you’ll be able to start your car, unlock your doors and trunk, manage the alarm, and turn on the heat during those cold winter mornings. Communicating using cell towers, range should hardly be a problem for this system. So, how much does this all cost? For all this to work you’ll need the SmartStart car module, which sells for $299 or $499, depending on the system you install. The app is free of charge.
