Sony CX500V

Adding two new models to its HD Handycam line, Sony has unveiled the HDR-CX500V and the HDR-CX520V. The two models ship with a backlit CMOS sensor, shoot 1080p video, snap 12-megapixels still images, and include a built-in GPS for geotagging both photos and videos. Other features include face detection, three-way image stabilization, a six-blade aperture, and the ability to record AVCHD (H.264). The two models will also play nice with Mac apps like iMovie. Both models will be available in September for $1,100 and $1,300.
