Harman International announces the availability of the JBL Creature III, an updated version of the popular three-piece speaker system that was originally introduced in 2002.  The JBL Creature III’s new and improved design brings a more efficient, fresh feel while staying accurate to its sci-fi line. The subwoofer is now more compact, making it an easy count to any desk in your home, office, or business. Offered in black and white, these tasteful speakers also glow from the bottom. Digital photo frames have all ways offered much more than just displaying photos and the newest offering by eStarling continues the trend with lots of social features. The eStarling 802.11n Touchscreen Connected Frame features a 10.2-inch display, 2GB of RAM, and an SD card slot. On the social side of things, the photo frame has a built-in Twitter client, supports photos from Gmail, Facebook, Picasa or Flickr, and includes a video inbox feature to playback videos sent from mobile devices. Adding two new versions to their popular Netflix, Amazon streaming device, Roku has introduced Roku HD-XR and Roku SD. For $129, the Roku HD-XR carries all the specs of the Roku HD with the addition of a USB port and 802.11n WiFi. At the moment, the USB port serves no purpose, but we wouldn’t count a firmware update to make use of it. The Roku SD on the other hand is for all who just want the movies regardless of the quality. Unlike the Roku HD, it will not include HDMI, component, S-video or optical audio out. Pricing for the SD model will be $79.

It was leaked once before as the WD TV 2, but Western Digital has made it official with the release of the WD TV Live. For $119, you get 1080p media, a variety of codec support, Dolby Digital and DTS decoders, HDMI out, an Ethernet jack,  and access to YouTube, Flickr and Pandora. Just a note to Western Digital, please add WiFi to future models. The WD TV Live is available now at Best Buy.

Announced during CES, RCA is finally releasing the EZ209HD. Coming in at around 0.5 inches thick, the EZ209HD captures video at a resolution of 1,280 x 720 (H.264) and still images at 8 megapixels. This camcorder also has a built-in HDMI connection and a 2” LCD display for instant viewing. As far as memory goes, this only offers 256MB of internal storage, so you would probably need an SDHC card if you want to shoot video longer than 5 minutes. The EZ209HD is shipping to retailers now and will cost under $100.

Being a powerful arm of its business, HP hardly fails to impress with its printers and the HP Photosmart Premium with Touchsmart Web is no exception. Being the “world’s first web-connected printer,” the Photosmart Premium will feature a 4.33 inch front panel touchscreen display, Touchsmart Web, and a slew of apps to help you print maps, tickets, coupons, recipes, and more without the need of a computer. HP will also include an HP Apps Studio with an open API to encourage developers to create apps for its printer. Aside from being able to print, the Photosmart Premium will also provide fax, copy and scan functionality. Also, being a wireless printer you’ll be able to print directly from your iPhone, iPod Touch, WiFi enabled PCs, and Bluetooth enabled devices. With all these features the Photosmart Premium is fairly priced at $399.

It showed up first for the PS2/PS3, but now it’s ready to come out for another console. Sometime in August, Logitech is set to release their realistic Guitar Hero controller for the Xbox 360. The guitar is said to be a solid build featuring a wood neck, a rosewood fingerboard and metal frets. The guitar will also include a touch sensitive slider and boast a range of 30 feet. All these features don’t come cheap, so expect to fork over $200 for one of these. Video preview of the guitar after the break.

It was leaked back in March, now its back with what seems to be official press shots. The MediaSmart Server LX195 looks to feature four USBs, an ethernet port, and DC power input for a brick. From the leaked images, this model seems to be a single drive server, which means there is no way to add aditional storage. This server is still not announced so pricing and availabilty is unkown.

This new THX certified TiVo product features up to 150 hours of high-def recording space, dual tuners, comes with an HDMI cable, and offers a Series3 premium backlit remote.
