Motorola Sholes Tablet

motorola sholes

Here are a few pictures of the supposed Motorola Sholes tablet. This phone is the predecessor of the Droid but amazingly enough equipped with more powerful features than the Droid. It is being said that this it does not have a physical keyboard like the Droid. The rumored spec sheet consist of  HDMI out(the first phone with an HDMI port), 8 megapixel camera with xenon flash, 720p video, Motorola’s CrystalTalk for background noise reduction on calls, and a giant 3.7 inch WVGA multitouch screen.  The phone will also be running Android 2.0 like the Droid. None of this is official yet so we will update as soon as more specs are leaked.

Dell Mini 3iX: Dells Android smartphone with no Android market?

Dell Mini 3iX: Dells Android smartphone with no Android market?

DELL mini 3iX

So yeah..this is the Dell Mini 3iX. As you can see, the first thing you might ask is were the heck are the buttons? Dell thought they were smart and decided you know what lets be cool and put all the buttons on the side of the phone. The next thing they did that was super original and creative (sarcasm) was to not include the Android market. The idea is to download applications directly from developers and the shop’s own application of course. Great job Dell! On the bright side, the 3iX includes WiFi, features a decent 3.5-inch display, 3 megapixel camera with flash, autofocus and video , 3G support,  Bluetooth, and a microSD slot. We can expect the 3iX in shops in 2010.. possibly in Q1.

Lenovo, HP, Dell Integrating SDXC Readers

Lenovo, HP, Dell Integrating SDXC Readers

SDXC

The new SDXC  announced earlier this year will begin to replace SDHC in 2010. The new memory cards will be able to support speeds as high as 300MB/s and capacities as large as 2TB.  The new SDXC readers will also be backwards compatible. This means that SDXC readers will be able to read SDHC, SD, and MMC, so its a win win situation. According to Dailytech, Lenovo, HP, and Dell are actively working on laptops with SDXC support, but no information is available yet from Apple or how soon SDXC will make its way into MacBooks.

HTC Passion

This is the rumored new HTC phone supposedly coming out to Verizon running a 1 Ghz Snapdragon processor and Android 2.0 as seen on the recent Droid from Motorola. This phone pictured above is a CDMA version of the Dragon and is coming sometime in Q4. The phone is not a sure thing yet so we will wait to hear more before we make anything official. AT&T and Apple just might have something to worry about this coming year.
