Although Android 2.0 is out, HTC has yet to release an update for the Hero. Instead, rumors have it that HTC is working on an update that will bring both Android 2.1 and an updated HTC Sense UI. Nothing has been deemed official yet, but the folks over at XDA seem to have the update on hand with full install instructions. Keep in mind this is an Alpha build, so everything has yet to be ironed out.

Does anybody know which kind of video information are supported? I bear in mind the Instinct only could dl 3gp utilizing opera mini. I downloaded the twist ap, possibly that is the problem? How can I watch videos from websites apart from youtube? Which file sorts? Often I am given the option of 3gp or mpeg4. Cannot get either to work. Thank you on your time! Thanks for the good article, I’m very excited. I’ve had my telephone for simply over a month now and am in point of fact enjoying all the free apps from the android market, being able to have the internet and navigation at my fingertips all of the time. The only lower than idea feature is the image/video text messages, as they are not downloading properly.
