
When you add a powerful battery, a full HD screen, and incredible specs, you get HP’s latest Pavilion dv8. The notebook is dubbed as an “entertainment laptop” and the specs prove it with an 18.4-inch (1,920 x 1,080) screen, a Core i7 processor, NVIDIA GeForce GT230 graphics with 1GB of RAM, 4GB of RAM, dual 320GB hard drives, a built-in TV tuner, a Blu-ray drive, and HP’s Long Life battery. The battery, powered by Sonata cells from Boston-Power, will allow for up to 1,000 recharges and will maintain “like-new performance for three years.” Expect this notebook in the UK on October 22 with a price of £1,300 (about $2,000).
