At an NYC event today, Sony unveiled its new multitouch all-in-one, the VAIO L. Being Sony’s first multitouch PC, the VAIO L is being dubbed as part PC and part HDTV, with a TV tuner, Blu-ray playback, and a 24-inch WUXGA (1920×1080) widescreen panel. An option for HDMI input is available and the multitouch all-in-one will come loaded with Sony’s software similar to HP’s TouchSmart. Available October 22, this new VAIO will start at $1300.
