It’s no secret that OEMs are loving the touch capabilities available in Windows 7 and while most have come out with touchscreen PCs, some manufacturers still have yet to announce anything. A manufacturer that can be added to the list of touchscreen PCs is Gateway. With the ZX6800 series and ZX4800 series, Gateway will ship these all-in-one desktops with Windows 7 along with their multitouch media tools. The specs for the ZX6810-01 include 23-inch multitouch LCD (1,920 x 1,080), 2.33GHz Core 2 Quad Q8200S CPU, 1GB ATI Radeon HD 4670 GPU, 8GB of DDR3 memory, and 8x slot-loading DVD burner. The desktops also ships with a 1TB HDD (or 64GB SSD), WiFi, six USB 2.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, an eSATA socket. The ZX4800-02 will be available with a 20-inch LCD (1,600 x 900), a 2.1GHz T4300 CPU, 4GB of DDR2 RAM , GMA X4500HD integrated graphics, and a 750GB SATA HDD. Price will be $1,399.99 for the ZX6810-01 and $749.99 for the ZX4800-02.
