Since February, Amazon has been selling the Kindle 2 for a price of $359. Today, they dropped the price by $60, which makes the Kindle 2 cost $299. With sales actually growing, it’s unknown why Amazon dropped the price, but who are we to complain.

It does everything it says it will do. No complaints other than some times you see a “shadow” of the screen saver or text if you look at the blank screen in certain light. Took it on a plane last week and the neoprene case I bought for it was perfect. Battery life is extremely long if you keep the wireless connection off. Really…no need to turn it on unless you want to visit the Kindle store anyway.
